Conference excursion

During this excursion we'll visit Troitse-Sergiyeva Lavra — the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual centre of the Russian Orthodox Church. The monastery is situated in the town of Sergiyev Posad, about 90 km to the north-east from Moscow by the road leading to Yaroslavl, and currently is home to over 300 monks.

Conference dinner will be after the excursion at Sergiyev Pasad.

Paid excursions

For persons who are interested in a closer look at Russia we may suggest following excursions:

1. Tuesday, Sep. 15. “Evening Moscow”.
   Start at 19:00 from Chernogolovka. Return to Chernogolovka at 1:00.
   Price is about 725 rub (17 EUR) per person.

2. Friday, Sep. 18. “Alexandrov”.
   The price of the General excursion for Russian visitors — 150 rubles, for foreign visitors — 210 rubles (~ 5 EUR).

3. Saturday, Sep. 19. “Suzdal — Vladimir”.
   Price is about 2975 rub (67 EUR) per person.

Cause for excursion to happen it is necessary to gather enough interested persons (about 20) please let us know and write to if you have interest in any of these excursions.

Evening Moscow

During 3-4 hour bus tour around Moscow you will learn historical facts and see Red Square, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Novodevichy Convent, Sparrow Hills, Kutuzov avenue, New Arbat Avenue, Tverskaya street, mansions of Russian nobility. Skilled guide will tell you history of Moscow and share with you interesting facts about past and modern Moscow.

Excursion to Alexandrov

General excursion on Alexandrov Kremlin, the residence of Russian Tsar Ivan the Terrible, who with blood strength and wisdom created the united Russian State.
The acquaintance with architectural ensemble, exposition “Tsar Court in Alexandrovskaya Sloboda”, the house–temple and the palace ensemble of Tsar Ivan IV, medieval basements and the exposition “Treasures of 3 centuries”.
Also in addition to the General excursion you can get some Interactive excursions

1. “Match-making” (engaging). We suggest you to be a participant of this original museum program about traditions, customs and everyday life of peasants of XIX century.
2. The choice of Tsar's bride. A very nice legend about medieval bride-show of Russian beauties, which took place in Sloboda five centuries ago. The tourists themselves take part in the ceremony, wearing the stylized costumes.

Excursion to Suzdal and Vladimir

Excursion includes visits to Suzdal Kremlin, Monastery of Saint Euthymius, Museum of Wooden Architecture. During excursion to Vladimir we'll visit Dormition Cathedral, St. Demetrius Cathedral and Golden gate.
